Workshop E: Sugar-free Baking, Desserts and Fruit:

We don’t eat enough fruit in, what we call a ‘developed world’! That was the NUMBER ONE finding in the worldwide ‘Global Burden of Disease Study conducted by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Fruit can be integrated into so many meals. We will take a close look at the widespread misinformation about fruit sugar and how the body differentiates between the fructose straight from the fruit as opposed to the added fructose (often from corn syrup) in many industrial (processed) products.

In this lesson we will make:

  • Raw Caramel Tartlets
  • Date Paste for a healthier alternative to sugar
  • Pickled Limes
  • Apple & Almond cake baked
