We don’t eat enough fruit in, what we call a ‘developed world’! That was the NUMBER ONE finding in the worldwide ‘Global Burden of Disease Study.
Fruit can be integrated into so many meals. We will take a close look at the widespread misinformation about fruit sugar and how the body differentiates between the fructose straight from the fruit as opposed to the added fructose (often from corn syrup) in many industrial (processed) products.
In this lesson we will make:
- Raw – melt in your mouth – Cacao & Hazelnut Tart with festive decoration
- An iron boosting, high protein breakfast granola and ways to serve it with an abundance of fruit
- Energy treats, bursting with flavour as well as nutrients, free of nasties, for people on the go
